Harvey discusses Oregon offer

With the hiring of Lubick, I think it's safe to say the staff is going to elevate the passing game. Even though we are offering him as an athlete I think it's pretty clear we like him as a DB. Neal is his primary recruiter.

We've been in many a top 5, even got hat treatment from Mitchell last year because TV required a 3rd hat. He didn't even visit. If a recruit is heavily questioning going to Oregon he will be difficult to recruit. I'm not saying we move on, just don't get our hopes up. I think we need to offer Quick.

Oregon has 105 TD passes in the last 3 years.

Nebraska has 53 TD passes in the last 3 years.

Mississippi St has 106 TD pass in the last...SEVEN years.

And on top of that, he would have one of the best passing quarterbacks in the nation to get him the ball. The amount Oregon passes isn't a legit reason to be unsure. If it's too far away or some other thing then that's fine. It's still really early though. I'm glad he's interested. Getting him to visit will make me excited about our chances.

35 TD's a year, the only reason we don't get more attention is that we have about 8 receivers splitting up the catches.

Did you read? It said mississippi st and nebraska have high interest and he thinks they are close to offering. Never said anything about his opinion of the two.
