Five Ducks Invited to NFL Combine

Senior Kiko Alonso along with four other Oregon Ducks were selected to the 2013 NFL Combine.

The National Football League has released their 2013 NFL Draft Combine invites and five Oregon Ducks were selected. Kiko Alonso, Kenjon Barner, John Boyett, Dion Jordan, and Kyle Long were all selected to participate in the event.

In two CBSSports.com mock drafts Dion Jordan is projected to go in 15th and 30th overall in the first round.

Jordan played in 12 games in 2012 and finished the year with 44 total tackles including 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. Kenjon Barner finished 2012 with a team-high 278 rushing attempts for 1,767 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns. Barner also added 20 catches and 256 yards and two touchdowns in his only year as a starter. Alonso was second on the team in tackles in 2012 with 81 tackles and a team-high 14 tackles for loss. Alonso also recorded one sack along with four interceptions. Kyle Long was a regular along the offensive line in his one year at Oregon. He became a regular starter during the week leading up to the game at USC. Long made the move from left tackle to left guard and flourished.

Boyett only played one game in 2012 before having to sit out the rest of the season due to injury.
