Following a big win this weekend over conference rival Arizona, the Ducks got even more big news on Sunday night with the addition of Tyree and Tyrell Robinson.
Tyrell Robinson confirms he and his brother committed to Oregon.
This weekend the twin four-star recruits were on their first official visit to Oregon. There was some sentiment the Ducks led for nearly all of the recruitment of the talented athletes. Earlier in the week I suggested a high likelihood they would commit on the trip, and the prediction paid off.
Moments ago, Tyrell Robinson confirmed via text he and his brother are now part of Oregon's 2013 class.
"Yes sir, we committed to Oregon," Tyrell Robinson said.
Their AAU basketball coach, Derrick Artis, also had this to say of the commitment.
"They had a great time on their visit and committed for football and basketball," Coach Artis said.
Tyrell Robinson committed on a scholarship for basketball and football. He will come in as a outside linebacker on defense and likely as a small forward in hoops. He is ranked as the No. 120 overall player in the nation.
Tyree Robinson committed on a scholarship for both sports as well. He will come in as a safety on defense and likely a shooting guard in hoops. He is ranked as the No. 145 overall player in the nation.
Oregon now has 11 verbal commits and figures to be more than half done with the class of 2013.
