    • Justin where do you think we stand? That is a lot of schools he has visited. Hope we get him but using OVs for schools he cannot get to is what I am reading. Any indication? AKA djfnintn, 247 has got my account mixed up.

    • I think they got it fixed

Edit: yep, really sent me wondering what the heck was happening

In my opinion, Northwestern could be tough to beat. It's right around the corner from LFA and it's the program Faith's parents are most familiar with. However, he's obviously not in a rush to make a decision and is going on visits, so we'll see how he responds to places like Oregon and Boston College after visiting.

    • if we get him here how can he turn us down?

    • I hope he brings his family on his OV.

Thanks steve, sort of got the impression that academics came first then the FB program. I think that their is some influence from parents regarding that as well. However if he wants to Major in Business UO could definately be in the running.

His parents live in Canada and he goes to boarding school in the States. I know he'd like to get his parents with him on official visits, but said that could be hard when I talked to him in July.

I was aware of that but sending a kid to a private school has a lot of expense, but obviously the parents are willing to shoulder the expense to give him a boost in education, and a chance at getting a scholarship and potential NFL contract. Hopefully they can find a way to make it to the UO.

There are a number of factors. For instance, could depend on whether proximity and distance is a large factor for him, or even come down to the weather. His intrigue with Oregon is a great start.

Not sure, but I think he's on scholarship at LFA.

Thats a very good question I said Viloma probably spelled that wrong how bout todd barr, Farmer people who all came here on official trips my belief is the two Dlineman who went to Cal and AGAIN I dont understand why they went there but we run a pretty fast Defense and offense so I just believe they couldnt or didnt want to work that hard as far as Farmer its all about him and Chip doesnt want guys that are not team players I mean come on Cal is loaded with great football players but it comes down to coaching and luckely we have one of the best staffs around. Cal always comes up short and we always win, I believe we get Murphy and Simmons maybe one more stud like 2 from up north hopefully Banner because I believe Altman will help with that guy playing the Post.

    • I hope you are correct in regards to Murhpy and Simmons! That would be some serious gets for the future of our O-line.

      deleriuzwun

    • My call is Simmons and possibly Banner.

I have to ask, how old are you? You have some of the worst grammar I've ever seen. Your logic is also terrible. If you can't understand why players from California go to CAL, one of the best public universities in the entire world, then there's no point in trying to explain it to you.

Your reasoning that Barr and Farmer went elsewhere because they didn't want to work hard is extremely narrow minded and downright insulting. Get off your high horse, just because a recruit we offered went to another school it doesn't mean they couldn't hack it here. You sound like a USC fan. Every time a recruit goes elsewhere they say he didn't want to compete.

Try some punctuation, please. You come across as extremely juvenile.

Here's a helpful tip, read your post out loud. You hear that gibberish? That's what we're all reading.

Sorry to say you are correct, you did better than me as I could not understand what the guy was trying to write.

    • As I recall, he and his parents put a lot of emphasis on education. While Oregon is not on the same level as Northwestern, we're very solid in several disciplines, including business and sports marketing, and offer some of the best student support with the incredible facilities like the Jaqua center. That should be appealing to them.
