No. 10 Oregon (18-3, 7-1) will look to start a new winning streak Saturday afternoon as the Ducks go into Hass Pavilion and take on the California Golden Bears (12-8, 4-4).
Can Oregon get back to their winning ways Saturday at a place they've historically struggled?
Which Oregon team shows up on Saturday? The No. 10 Oregon Ducks team that jumped out to a 7-0 start in league play? Or will Wednesday night's team show up again and struggle in all areas of the game?
One thing one could certainly assume will be the threat for a sweep. Oregon has had little success at Haas Pavilion in recent years. The last time Oregon won in Berkeley was back in 2008 and in February when the Ducks won big 92-70. Last season Oregon was looking like they’d get a victory to only lose. Oregon is also winners of just one game in their last 11 games against Cal. Cal has won nine straight games.
Oregon can quickly right their faults from Wednesday with a big win on Saturday.
The Ducks were routed by Stanford Wednesday night 76-52, and played their first game on the road without starting point guard Dominic Artis. The Stanford Cardinal dominated from start to finish as Oregon struggled getting into any kind of an offense. Oregon scored a season low 22 first half points and trailed by 13 at the half. Senior Carlos Emory scored 12 points to lead Oregon and Arsalan Kazemi finished with six points and nine rebounds.
On Thursday Cal beat Oregon State 71-68 and did it by rallying from down 12 points in the second half. Allen Crabbe finished with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Justin Cobbs added 14 points and a season-high seven assists.
