Devilishly shrewd recruiting tactics? Possibly? The tactic could also blow up in his face if Harris feels he is being manipulated. Not that anyone would put that thought into his head.

Either way Mr. Harris will be playing at Autzen next season. It just depends on if he wants to win or not. We will roll the vols.

Exactly. I suspect Oregon's coaching staff has explained the situation to him. If he decides to trip to Oregon, then maybe he could play for a winning team. If not, there are plenty of other talented receivers that would like that opportunity.

I know it's a small chance, but what about him visiting the weekend of the 5th and 6th then going home making a decision with his parents and then e rolling for spring semester a la AA?

I prolly would have worded this differently, but ultimately said the same thing. Butch Jones didn't do this, Paul Harris did. If he was serious about Oregon, he would have visited.
I think it's likely time for Duck fans to move on from this recruit. JMO.
