After getting the biggest win in the Dana Altman era Thursday night the Oregon Ducks (13-2, 2-0) head into an equally important home game Sunday evening against Arizona State.
How loud with Oregon's fans get Sunday night?
Tip is set for 6 PM pst and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 network. Former Oregon head coach Ernie Kent will be providing color for the Pac-12 network and Paul Sunderland will provide play-by-play.
Both the Ducks and Sun Devils are looking to keep pace with the UCLA Bruins (4-0) and Washington Huskies (3-0) - who both have opened league play undefeated two weeks into conference play.
Oregon sits 2-0 in the Pac-12 with wins at OSU and at home against Arizona. ASU is 3-0 with two home wins over Colorado and Utah along with their most recent went at OSU.
This year's Sun Devil squad isn't your typical Herb Sendek coached team that walks the ball up the court and runs the shot clock down to single digits before shooting. Instead the Sun Devils like to get up and down the court and play a fun style of basketball and like to have their scoring in the 70s. Senior Carrik Felix, this week's Pac-12 player of the week, averages 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds to lead the Sun Devils. Freshman sensation Jahii Carson is one of the nation's best and leads the team in scoring with 16.9 and 5.3 assists per game. Carson has also scored 20 or more points in six games this season. Junior center Jordan Bachynski is maybe one of the nation's most improved players averaging 10. points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game.
