The 6-foot-3, 295-pound prep is in the midst of his junior year which will be his final blocking for Mixon. Fredrickson is likely better suited to play guard in college but is holding his spot at left tackle.
"I'm playing left tackle right now and I switch out at defensive tackle sometimes too," Fredrickson said. "I feel pretty comfortable on offense. Most coaches like my upside, my footwork and my aggressive nature."
Fredrickson does not have any offers to date but has garnered his own interest.
"I visited Cal and I really like the new offense and the new coaches," he said. "I'm going again this weekend with Joe (Mixon) to watch them play Ohio State."
Oregon and Washington State have also shown some interest. The talented offensive lineman is hoping the Ducks like what they see.
"I grew up an Oregon fan. I just love the program and the way they do things. Hopefully I can get up there for a visit some time."
Fredrickson also said he would love to get involved with Washington, Arizona State, Oregon State and Michigan as things pick up.
