Rich Rodriguez enters his second season at Arizona and the Wildcats get an easy tune up game against local FCS opponent Northern Arizona. The Wildcats will put up a lot of points, but not much will be known after week one for Arizona.

Nicholls at No. 3 Oregon
The Mark Helfrich era gets underway with an easy blowout victory over Nicholls. The Ducks will put up a lot of points while the defense doesn't allow a touchdown.

Mike Riley's Beavers establish a solid running game and a passing game also is seen. A stingy defense clamps down in the second half as the Beavers get an easy win.

Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars head south for a battle with a once established SEC power. The Air-Raid keeps the Cougars alive late in the game and pull off the upset.

The Nevada Wolfpack come into the Rose Bowl with hopes of upsetting UCLA. The Bruins have other plans, and blow Nevada out of the water early into the second half.

Washington has a new stadium and new hope as they enter the 2013 season, but Boise State also has dreams of a historic season. Boise State pulls off the slight upset on a late fourth quarter touchdown.
