Indian Trail (N.C.) Porter Ridge kicker Matt Wogan picked up an offer he was ready to commit on. The Oregon Ducks offered after seeing the 6-foot-2, 195-pound prep while at camp two weeks ago.
After returning home, Wogan discussed the prospect of playing out of state with his family and the decision was easy.
"It feels absolutely great knowing I'm going to play for the Ducks," Wogan said. "I love the people, the academics and the coaches. But I really love all of the people around there. In the end it was a very easy decision for me."
Wogan is coming in on a scholarship to be a kicker. He said he spends a lot of time as the punter for his school too.
"I'm excited to come in and learn from Dylan Ausherman who was one of the top punters last year," he said. "I committed on a scholarship to be a kicker though. My friends and my family are all excited for me. Oregon is the place for me."
The Ducks continue the hot streak of commitments as Wogan is the fourth in less than ten days.
