Damion Hobbs commits to Utah State

Texas quarterback target Damion Hobbs visited and committed to Utah State this weekend. The Ducks were expecting to host Hobbs this weekend for an official visit. Utah State also just added another quarterback commit moments ago, Darrell Garretson. Is Hobbs still planning to visit Oregon?

Staff hits the road in force

Mark Helfrich didn't wast anytime hitting the recruiting trail. Yesterday at 1PM he was formally introduced as Oregon's 32nd head coach, that night he was doing in-home visits. He also added his own stamp on recruiting by making his visits so far with the entire coaching staff. Thomas Tyner commented on his visit with the staff.

Juwaan Williams still has Oregon on short list

The Ducks are only seriously recruiting a few targets with signing day rapidly approaching. Juwaan Williams has been one of the top options for quite some time. Williams is being recruited as an athlete and could end up at defensive back or receiver for Oregon.
