Aliotti set to Retire

Bruce Feldman of CBSSports.com reports Nick Aliotti will retire following the Alamo bowl. Oregon has now officially announced the move which can be found below.

There have been swirling rumors regarding this move for some time. Aliotti is one of Oregon's longest tenured coaches but the move comes as a bit of a surprise.

Justin Wilcox has been linked to a potential Oregon reunion, but is expected to sign with USC and rejoin Sarkisian.

We had learned last night Oregon was expected to hold a press conference today, but we felt at the time it was to announce the return of Ifo Ekpre-Olomu next season.

DuckTerritory will look to follow up with this story and assemble a list of names expected to be interviewed with Oregon. One of the very first candidates one can asssume would be the promotion of defensive backs coach John Neal.
