Last week I went 5-1 with my lone loss coming by the hands of the Oregon State Beavers. I felt like Oregon State would be able to get a road victory against a tough Stanford program starting a freshman at quarterback. Alas they couldn't pull it out and ruined my week. I now have a running total of 57-19 and a winning percentage of 75-percent.
Oregon will square off against a Stanford football team who has one of the nation's best defenses.
Onto this week's picks...
Washington at Colorado
Washington has failed to win a game this season on the road and yet Vegas thinks they are multiple touchdown favorites over Colorado. Yikes how bad is Colorado? Last week Washington got bowl eligible and now are playing for a better bowl game. At 6-4 the Huskies are sneaking their way into a solid 8-4 season. Colorado wants the season to end.
Bishop Sankey goes wild and Keith Price has a good game and the Huskies roll.
Washington 38 Colorado 13
No. 21 USC at No. 16 UCLA
Oregon vs Stanford is the nation's game of the week but this one could hold just as much weight in the Pac-12. USC needs to win to maybe save Lane Kiffin's job but also this season. UCLA wants to get into the Top-14 of the BCS to allow them to be eligible for an at-large spot for the BCS if they don't win the Pac-12.
Brett Hundley has a huge game rushing and throwing as the Bruins win a shootout against USC.
UCLA 45 USC 41
Washington State at Arizona State
The Sun Devils were on such a high earlier in the year sitting at 5-1 and looking at a match-up against Oregon for the right to declare themselves legit. They got destroyed by Oregon and haven't recovered as they are losers of their last four games. Washington State is that perfect bounce-back game and ASU gets themselves to a bowl with a win.
Cameron Marshall and D.J. Foster both go crazy with huge games and this is a blowout.
ASU 59 Washington State 24
Arizona at Utah
Last weekend Arizona running back Ka'Deem Carey set a Pac-12 rushing record after Kenjon Barner set it the previous week. I think Arizona gets Matt Scott back at quarterback and eliminates Utah's bowl hopes. Big game again from Carey.
This game is close early on before Carey breaks it open.
Arizona 38 Utah 24
Cal at No. 17 Oregon State
Still an important game for Oregon State as they are playing for the slim but doubtful possibility of getting into a BCS Bowl. I think Cal put all their eggs in one basket last weekend against Oregon in attempts to saving the season and it failed. Cal won't play inspired and Oregon State will look good.
Look for Markus Wheaton to have a huge game here and OSU's passing attack behind Sean Mannion to have a good day.
OSU 31 Cal 17
No. 13 Stanford at No. 1 Oregon
The Cardinal vs the Ducks. This game has the hype and feel that USC vs Oregon had at the start of the year. An elite defense with a threatening offense against Oregon's warp speed attack. This game is going to be close at half with Stanford even maybe leading at one point. However I don't think Stanford can score 60 on Oregon's defense as that's the only way it appears to be Oregon.
Marcus Mariota has a huge game throwing and rushing and cements his ticket to New York City.
Oregon 50 Stanford 34
