Oregon freshman guard Willie Moore will transfer from Oregon sources tell DuckTerritory.com and finish his basketball career at a different college.
Moore started two games and played in 26 total at Oregon in 2012-13. Moore averaged 2.0 points and 0.5 assists per game in 6.9 minutes.
Moore scored a career-high nine points in nine minutes of action against Washington on January 26th. Against Northern Arizona in Oregon's season opener Moore finished with seven points, three steals, two assists, and two rebounds in a career-high 20 minutes. Against Idaho State Moore finished with eight points and two assists in 18 minutes.
Moore was a three-star recruit out of Cincinnati, OH. He picked Oregon over offers from Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Duquesne, Dayton, and Mississippi State.
He is expected to transfer somewhere closer to home.
Oregon will now have just two point guards on the roster in 2013-14 in sophomore Dominic Artis and senior Johnathan Loyd.
