He can play, but I don't see him as a realistic option. We weren't in his top 10 and he set up visits with UCLA and SC, but not Oregon. You would think if he was genuinely interested he'd visit while on the West coast. Plus, it doesn't seem as if he's being recruited very hard by our staff. You would think the staff would actually want to communicate with the PSA.
I'm thinking this year the staff is evaluating and then offering a lot of kids and see which ones bite and reciprocate the interest. For instance I could see the staff trying to contact this young man now that his interest is peaked a bit. We shall see. I'd like to see him visit or the staff try and get him to visit while he's West.

:) Welcome Mom. Honestly, you posting here shows that your boys interest is genuine. I hope our coaches start talking to your son personally. He would be a great addition to our team. Thanks for posting. Hope you peep your head in more often.

Not to be a suck up or anything, but he sounds like he really has his head on his shoulders. When you hear things like developing himself into being a better man, those are the kinds of things successful student athletes say. We have a kid coming in this cycle named Juwaan Williams who just raved about the coaches valuing him as a person and wanting to help him develop as a person.
Wherever he chooses to go, he'll be successful. We've all heard enough interviews with kids to know when a kid has 'it' and Im confident your son will be successful with that attitude and work ethic.
