Do you get any sense from Coach Helfrich that we're going to improve/become more aggressive in our recruiting methodology? For such a long time, we've waited to offer, offered late, followed up late and passively while the schools with the perennial Top Ten classes have at least 20 verbals by November, and then compete like hell for 5-7 more 4-and-5 stars in Jan and Feb. For whatever reason, this pattern seems especially true of the few, rare 5 Star D Linemen that we so desperately need.

Is our slow methodolgy due strictly to 'character' research, or is there some other, bureaucratic thing behind the scenes slowing us down?
