Pleasant was better than Patterson against Zona. Love Patterson but he was one of the worst toasted DBs in that game. Pleasant isn't great in coverage but he wasn't terrible last week.
I liked what I saw out of Jackson and Dargan more.

It's a concern that we do not seem to get turnovers this year. Playing three freshmen DB's ... Mitchell, Ifo and Hill is really, really difficult in the pass happy PAC 12 and it is a wonder we have done so well. We tend to forget just how young this team is and how many defensive leaders were lost to graduation. Kenny Rowe was way underrated as a speed rusher and turnover cause.
California's receivers are very good and Jeff Tedford seems to give the Ducks problems given time to prepare. That said, 1) we do not lose at Autzen, 2) Cliff Harris will be back in the saddle and will get a pick six, 3) the noise factor is extra tough on a rookie QB, and 4) Darrin Thomas passes way better at Autzen for some reason and will hit a long pass or two opening things up for LaMike to gain 160 yards on the ground. I think we win 48-27.
I would love to see a game like 09 agains Cal, where Dickson blew them apart, but using the RBs this time, out of the triple option formation that FishDuck pointed out in his article.
