  • Should Gordon commit, we will find a way to make room. Anyone would. Feliciano, I really hope makes it into school, but with the issues down there and 2 JC's coming in, it's possible one of the 3 doesn't make it in.

I really like our freshmen this year, though you'd have to think Moore or Richardson could consider transferring with Dotson's stellar freshman season and JC wings coming in. I'd really hate to lose Fred. I think he can be very good.

I don't want to see Keumper transfer either, but anytime a player sees as little action as he did, you know that's a possibility.

I'm still a bit baffled by the Lapray offer in the first place, but I don't expect us to try and force out any newcomers. Maybe asked to Greyshirt?

Bottom line is if Gordon wants to come, a way will be found.

What do you mean "issues down there and 2 jc's, it's possible one of the 3 doesn't make it in." Matt has said multiple times all Feliciano has to do is pass the SAT and he is in. The two JC guys are both good to go, Abdul-Basset was a full qualifier coming out of HS and Cook is on pace to earn his AA this year.

"issues down there" is that Feliciano is going to a "prep school" that is basically a scam.

And, for the JC's, sometimes credits don't transfer as you expect. There is no reason to think either of them won't get in, but it happens fairly frequently all around the country that a JC player can't make it in that thinks they can. It happened to us last year with Devon Branch.

He already graduated from HS in brazil, the prep school has no baring.

Let's hope that's the case, but I would be pretty skeptical that I could finish high school in South America and have the pre-requesites to get into an American college.

There are a lot of assumptions here.

No need. I've read it. Matt does a great job.

But Matt has to go by what he's learned from speaking with Christian.

And again, how is it, do you think that players fail to qualify for sports every year? You do understand that many of these players have told websites like Duck Territory that they are fully qualified. Sometimes they just say it. Many times its because they actually think they are. Most kids make the assumption, or are told, that all they have to do is get their AA or take their SAT. They aren't even aware that sometimes a particular class won't transfer or a certain requirement hasn't been met.

    It happens every year.

  • He also said a few weeks back the coaches have told him the same thing, so not just going off what the player has told him.
