I'm a very big fan of Oregon's newest commit Alex Redmond.
I first saw Redmond at the LA Nike Camp where he was in my opinion the best offensive lineman in attendance. He showed elite pass-blocking skills on that day. that was the first time i had seen him and since then i've studied more of his film and I've become a big fan.
He's a kid that has outstanding feet, when he gets out of his stance and pulls, he does so with really good fluidity and quickness. he's got good bend and flexibility and most importantly, when he locks onto defenders he finishes.
We haven't done an active rerank of the four-stars in California in a while but when we do, I expect him to get a bump up to four-stars Darren Carrington will likely get a bump as well.
I think this is a big-time pickup.

Thanks Barton.
if I might add onto the commitment of Redmond and my thoughts:
A lot has been said on this board this past week about UW getting seven 2013 and one 2014 commit and the UW fans calling it some hilarious St. Tosh Massacre Day up in Seattle. Yup. It's a surefire massacre up there.
Washington has 15 solid commitments while also holding one soft-commit according to our latest update on 247sports. Among those 16 prospects the Oregon Ducks have offered just one prospect. Meanwhile Oregon's got now 8 verbal commitments and the Huskies have gone after and lost out to 4 of those commits.
Further more if you go and look at the UW commit list you will notice the USC Trojans haven't offered many of their prospects as well. Keep in mind USC and UW run very similar offensive sets as well and their personal is more similar than UWs to Oregon's.
So while Oregon fans may want to see a lot of commits come rolling in with a lot of stars going with it(Wait, didn't Oregon just land 5 commits in about 14 days?) I urge people to look at the quality Oregon is bringing in. Oregon's continuing to bring in talent that maybe a three-star level athlete but said recruit holds a much stronger offer list than what Washington is bringing in.

Another point is that UW's class will soon be full at this rate...Oregon will continue to evaluate players during the season and as we all know, players from other schools often decommmit. If oregon finishes top 5 again, they will have the national spotlight and kids will come flocking...I am happy with oregons class thus far.
