Do you think that Kelly's unfinished business at Oregon, may actually be for him to go down as one of or the greatest college coach ever before making any possible jump to the NFL and not just a championship?

Also, what's the latest with Vita Vea? Is his academic situation a lost cause?

It feels like de-commitment and "I wanna look around some more" season is starting. What currently committed players are likely to schedule a visit with Oregon before all is said and done?

If Oregon wins a title this season and then Chip goes to the NFL you have to look at his four year run at Oregon and think it stacks right up there. He would have a title under his belt, coached for another title but lost, won a Rose Bowl, lost a Rose Bowl and lost only 6 games in four years while winning the Pac-12 4 years in a row. I think he wouldn't be at the top of the pecking order but he'd be able to see the peak.

Grades are still an issue and have prevented him from being a serious option for Oregon.

Kelly will leave eventually, this year, next year, four years from now. I know that a lot depends on timing, but when he goes, what happens to 1) the staff and 2) the players/recruits? Who do you see leaving? Would the coaches trickle up or would we look for outside hires? Would a coach like Frost leave for a better opportunity? So many questions!

Do you guys have visibility as to whether Jeff Lockie or Jake Rodrigues is the better fit in the staff's eyes or is Jake still not 100%?
