    I agree with a lot of this as most recruits had already stated what is most important is the staff staying in tact more than Chip staying.

I don't hate CK for leaving, he's in a tough spot and there to no right way to make this decision the timing would never be right but it does truly suck for us no so many levels, lets hope our other coaches can recover quickly and keep this recruiting class together and snag a few more....man this news sucks!

  • Also it might be better that he left during a down recruiting cycle anyway. Helps set us up for next years cycle by preventing as much negative recruiting. We just need a strong season on the field to keep us rolling.

  • Where is his spine? I had accepted the notion of him leaving 2 weeks ago, but this changes my opinion for dramatically. My second favorite NFL team is who ever is playing the Eagles.

  • Should Kelly have told his assistant coaches? YES! But to say that Chip screwed us over is not true. We would not be here if it weren't for Chip. Will we lose some PSA's, probably. I think Chip was planning to stay at Oregon, but the Eagles called and said they would give him control over personnel. How can you expect him not to take the job when he wants to coach in the NFL, and it's on the east cost.

    Now, hopefully Oregon moves quickly to promote MH to head coach, and they hit the recruiting trail like there is no tomorrow to try and salvage this class. Campbell get on Wilson and Tyner! Frost and Helfrich get on the twins!!! GO DUCKS!!!
