He may be having a very hard time adjusting to the college game and mentally not able to accept the failure or maybe lack of success he is having. I played DIV III and the adjustment was huge to me so I can't imagine how much the change is to DI program.

He can't.... Unless he recieves a hardship waiver (won't happen).

I would have to think this is a personal thing regarding college rather than impacts by other players.

I hope he's okay. My initial thought was family tragedy or something. I hope for his sake it is not. As a fan, I want him back, but obviously his life is way more importnat.

I think Altman said they are going to let him think about it over Thanksgiving.

News was released following Sunday's game. I left the arena at 5 PM. Team was still there. They then were on one of the first flights out of Eugene to head to Nebraska Monday morning. Just not many chances for Altman to meet with Brown, if Brown was even willing. This will play out longer than most would want.

That said I won't expect Brown back at Oregon.
