  • The way I feel about SC (and I think most duck fans feel the same way) and that is SC isn't even a true rival, they are a team we play once a year, and the rest of the time I could care less about them. It's funny so many of them are obsessed with UO these days. I don't recall UO fans rushing to the SC boards to tell SC fans they cheated. Personally I could care less about any other school cheating, and I take no joy in another school getting penalized.

  • I was going to ask how many of you read every article in the LA papers and national sites about SC's violations and sanctions . . . and then posted links to all of them on the Trojan site two days later. I also wonder if the LA media assigned multiple writers to post a new article every hour the day the sanctions came out. Gotta hand it to the Trojan fans . . . they are doing a "great" job keeping isolated bits of information out there and filling in the blanks for us.

    As for rivals . . . we're not even going to play them once a year anymore and though I've enjoyed some of the games we've played against them, I don't really think about them much before or after our game. I do root for them in bowl games. I just don't get the obsession they have with us right now and the hate . . . is it only because we've beaten them a couple years in a row. Pretty lame.
