Coleton Baker signs with Oregon

A local basketball star is headed to the University of Oregon.
"Former Oakland High School and Umpqua Community College standout Coleton Baker has committed to head coach Dana Altman and the Ducks for the 2012-13 season.
During his final year with UCC, Baker was the top scorer in the South Region averaging more than 24 points per game. He was also a first team all-conference selection.
Baker will earn his Associate of Arts degree from Umpqua this spring before transferring to Eugene."
Just not sure if he will be on scholarship or not?

depending on how this recruiting class shakes out he might be able to earn one. i wonder how well he can play point guard

this is certainly a nice pick-up if we aren't giving away a scholarship...DA has done a great job picking up high level peferred walk-ons so far. I'm very impressed.
