Colts Head Coach Search (NFL.com story talking Chip Kelly)

I hate reading this stuff because it worries me. I love that Chip is getting the respect he deserves as a head coach and not just an offensive mastermind. That being said I can see how this can cause some fear with the Dungy connection and Andrew Luck...first round draft pick, etc. I know this really going to make some people go limp.....it is like walking in on your parents having sex after having that 24 hour Arik Armstead boner....

Oregont have any NFL coaching experience, but Michael Lombardi presents a convincing argument as to why the Colts should turn to him to fill their vacancy.

It's just one guy's opinion. Chip is going to be linked to every single open NFL head coaching job because of his innovation and success. Don't fret about it every time it pops up. I'm positive Chip isn't going anywhere.

What isn't mentioned is that Chip has been successful in implementing a specific system. The Colts will draft Andrew Luck, no question about it. Is Chip's system right for Luck? No way. Chip's not the right guy for the job in Indy.

How many coaches go from being at most a FCS school coordinator on the east coast, to their first head coaching job and win the conference in all of his first 3 years, go to the NC and win a Rose Bowl. That's a pretty rare resume if you ask me. I don't think it will be this year but a few years from now I will not be surprised to see Kelly get a shot at pro job as much as it might hurt the Oregon program. What is the saying "we rise to the level of our incompetence". Saban makes a hell of a college coach but was completely unsuccessful in the pros. Kelly will probably eventually get his shot if he wants it to see of he can do it.

This guy isn't a mathematician. Andrew Luck + Chip Kelly's Offense = NFL?
I think most believe that his offense is best suited for college, where he will stay.
