Beat writer for the Eugene paper says on Twitter that its a done deal for Oregon - UVa in Charlottesville on Sept 7th. Just waiting on confirmation from both schools.
It's a lot like the Grove, actually. Great comparison. We don't have the hot southern belles that Ole Missy can boast, but our girls can hold their own. In early September, expect a lot of sundresses.
If you make it to the game, come early and ready to tailgate, and come thirsty for some bourbon. Our fans can be fickle when it comes to their level of support for the football program, but they are ALWAYS cool to fans of the away team and very willing to share their wares and help everyone have a good time... as long as you're not a Hokie, Terp, or Tarhole.
We're not delusional about this game. We just scheduled a loss, but a loss that will put butts in seats and help us pay the balance on our new indoor practice facility.
The die-hards like myself and PG Hoo will have you believe that we are absolutely a program on the rise, but that still remains to be seen. Realistically, our best bet for next season is to go 6-6 or 7-5 against a pretty decent (and rapidly improving!) schedule, and play in a low-tier bowl game, which would represent a baby step forward for the program.
Anyway, as much as I hate seeing us be the cupcake, I'd rather it be Oregon doing the snacking than some lame-ass SEC or B1G program. And who knows? Maybe we'll put up a little bit of a fight!
Best of luck to you guys, and we'll see you in September!
No, don't replace the Nevada game. I love that it is in Reno. No problem getting rooms, food, endless free transportation, tickets to game. Oh yeah something about drinking on the streets whenever as long as it's not glass, entertainment abound, best little city. Ugh
Please don't do it. Dbl post

The atmosphere can be really fun and exciting in and around Scott Stadium. It's much better earlier in the year before we start losing. Lol. As Kendall said the ladies are out in their dresses looking fine and there's always a lot going on. If you forget your whiskey most people will share. Lol. There's also several great places to eat at and there's a lot to do in Cville with all of it historical background. With the game being played in early September though it could be pretty dang hot so bring sun tan lotion. I hope a bunch of y'all cn make the tip! If you need anything or any kind of info you can hit me up over the UVA site and I'm sure Kendall and some of the others would gladly help out as well.
Thanks! Pretty much a lock Mimi Duck and I will make the trip.
