Interesting how so many experts are questioning his potential and yet they talk of how much Bradshaw changes the dynamics of the Giants offense.
People look into measureables way too much. They see he's 5'9'' and just assume he's all speed and nothing else. They're in for a huge surprise.
Some team is going to get a steal on draft day. LMJ is gonna ball.
I'm not sure many experts so much question LMJ's potential, it's more of where do you draft a guy with his talents. I believe Bradshaw was drafted in the 7th round. To me, while they may be "listed" the same in stature, Bradshaw looks heavier. I think a better comparison would be to that of Kansas City RB Dexter McCluster.
i was thinking the same thing.
I wouldn't compare LMJ to McCluster. He is a few years into the league and still listed as 5'8" and only 170 lbs. Plus he's as much a receiving threat as rushing. So actually, I'd compare DAT to McCluster more than LMJ.
Not sure who to compare LMJ to. Maybe similar to another old Pac-10 guy Jahvid Best?
LMJ could be good in the right NFL system. Look at Warrick Dunn, he was small and rushed for over 11,000 yards.

Great points! I would say to all, don't be surprise at all if LMJ shrinks at the combine. I really love the W. Dunn comparison though.

Maybe a little Jamaal Charles too.
Cougs is 6'3" 235.
I don't know if LMJ is 5' 9". I see DAT as a Sproles kind of player
lol what? Bradshaw is 215 at least. The guy is a truck.
Better comparison. Charles is bigger and faster but doesn't have the moves or the "it" factor that LMJ does.
That may be but I was just going of the stats NBC was showing for him.
Use your eyeballs next time. I don't see a single site that lists him under 214
I was thinking Charles as well. JC is a couple inches taller, but they're about the same weight. Charles is probably a little heavier, but LMJ will get up there. Sproles is a good comparison. Sproles is thicker, but he's also older and been conditioned by the nfl.
I had the exact same thought when they showed his height and weight. Carvsggio may be right that he is heavier though. I was thinking he looked thicker than 195.
