2014 OT has 35 offers(most of the big wigs), Oregon on his list but with no offer?
Don't you know, we don't offer kids until 2 weeks till signing day?
oregon will not offer until they have time to really check a kid out. With signing day 2 days ago, there are just a certain number of Juniors they have had time to really evaluate.. If they like him it will come..
Enjoy Life, it has an expiration date.
Jack's son? We do love the legacy kids. And his dad definitely had a mean streak.
Can u provide a link where this kid indicates his desire for a Duck offer?
I don't know if he desires, I just looked at scouts list of schools under the players profile and there were 37 and Iowa and Oregon were the only schools with no offers. It's early but I was impressed with his offer sheet this early and was wondering with all those offers why no Oregon one that's all.
A lot of kids profiles are like that right now. We have been notoriously slow at getting lots of offers out early in years past. Hopefully we start earlier and keep contact with more PSA's than past years.
It's just not our style to offer cause everyone else has, nor without performing our due diligence on him.
He might not have the athleticism that we require a la Aaron Cochran.
My $$$$ is on LSU or Bama
Yep, that's my boy. Big, strong, mean--a real badass if there ever was one!

So how much interest does he have in UO Quack? Would love to watch edition number 2. U weren't to bad yourself!!
It's great to see you back
Patience grasshopper. But not too much haha
Not Jack, it's either Kiefer or Greg.
Why do today what you can put off unt
LOL. I'm positive he'd take to the UO like the proverbial duck to water!

Probae esti in segetem sunt deteriorem datae fruges, tamen ipsae suaptae enitent
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the point of this thread? We have like ten offers out at this point. We could put up the entire 247 top 100 and ask why he has a lot of offers, and no Oregon offer.
Has he contacted our coaching staff? Are they aware of his interest, I don't see the coaches going to 247 ect and MO isn't exactly where our normal recruiting pipelines come from.
As another poster said, nice to see you on the board again. Welcome back!
That's all I need to hear. Throw the young man an offer. Your boy is a monster indeed.
The point is he's the son of a former Duck and the young man is a beast!!! Is that hard to understand why fans would want him?
I didn't understand he was a legacy. My bad, it just seemed like he was a good talent from Missouri, and kind of a random one to make a post about. It makes sense now that I know he has an Oregon connection. I suppose I earned my downvotes for not paying attention.
Lol. You just asked a simple question. Definitely not deserving of dv's. I got you with a +1. Now you know why there's the interest.
Whoa! Back from the dead
"Release Me Cuhhhhhhhh"
Hopefully the coaches dont make the critical error of not recruiting Mr. Bauer. We made a big mistake a few years ago when we did not recruit Cason (legacy) and then he became an all-American for Arizona and almost single-handedly (as much as you can in football) dismantled the ducks. It looks like every single top-tier program has already offered so let's show some love.
Would be nice, but as we saw with EV as fans we lack influence. All we can do is promote a positive atmosphere towards the kids and their interests in Oregon. Once the recruiting changes are official, I'm expecting things to get stranger in general.
Not to start a new topic (but I am sure it will be one soon that someone else can start) but the new rules will make it extremely difficult for the coaches to gauge between "attention" and "annoying." Will we gain more because other staffs will make too much contact and bother PSAs or will they fall for the aggressive approach? I think each PSA is different and good recruiting coaches will need to be able to discern this. As far as Bauer, I know the coaches like to do their due diligence and the player must fit into our system, but 37 top programs can't be wrong and he already has duck blood running through his veins.
