I've read a couple of predictions that have Tampa picking James in the draft. Wouldn't that be something.
And If Chip had taken the Tampa job.
Would really be an interesting combo. They fit eachother really well plaiyng style. I really hope the Bucs don't draft the kid from Alabama though. I think Trent Richardson would steal carries and eventually replace Blount full time.
I hope he comes to my Ravens. Ricky Williams retired so we're looking for a back up RB. I really don't think he's an every down back. I would love to get a speedy little back behind Rice. LMJ, Ngata and Ed Dixon together. I love having former Ducks pimping Purple and Black. Also the Ravens have suspect special teams and we don't have a true threat for a kick/punt returner. We actually would rotate a bunch of guys. I'd love to see LMJ fill that Joe McKnight kind of roll with the Ravens.
He needs to continue his dominance in the green and yellow and go to the Pack. I'm hoping they make it happen...I'd be giddy.
Minnesota Vikings will be looking for a new tandem to make up for AP's injury, which may not hamper him all season, but when you blow out your knee, you are rarely quite the same player right away if at all. With Gerhart as the primary back to begin the year, and LaMichael as an every fourth play guy, the Vikes can add Peterson back into the mix as he gets healthy. Plus with the Vikings woes at QB, they will need several backs to experiment with to find their most potent attack. That being said, there would be some serious Thunder and Lightning going on with Blount and James on the same squad.
With Ray Rice there I doubt he would get much playing time as they are similar size backs. Not the same level, just similar size. I am hoping that Johnathan Stewart gets up there though, that would be sweet. I am not one hundred percent positive, actually I am most likely wrong, but he should be up for a new contract right? And he has the size that Williams had and the speed, if only he can get past the injury problems. I know it will most likely not happen, but how awesome would that be.
My Broncos! McGahee can't last for this long and our depth is not that good, I am high on Jeremiah Johnson too though.
J Stewart would be awesome with Rice. Even though Rice and James are around the same height, Rice has a fair amount of weight on him. Rice is pretty fast, but he is more of the punch you in the mouth type back rather then the have you wiff back like LMJ is. I think they could compliment eachother quite nicely. Rice would get the majority of carries obviously, but he could break a D down and set up LMJ for the big plays. RR would tire a D out and then LMJ comes in with his speed and take advantage of a winded and beaten up D. Also like I said before the Ravens really need a permanent kick/punt returner and I think Lamike could fill that spot and fill that type of big play style that McKnight does for the Jets. I just don't see LMJ being an every down kind of back, but I hope I'm wrong. I would live to see him get a starting roll somewhere.
Seattle please. He and Beast Mode would make a great thunder and lightning combination.
