So with Scott interviewing at Nebraska and also for the head job at La Tech, it either has to mean that Chip is staying or that if Chip was leaving, he was not going to take Frost with him. I thought Chip and Frost were pretty tight, and also thought tha plan was if Chip leaves Helfrich becomes the Head Coach and Frost the OC. THoughts?
Enjoy Life, it has an expiration date.
I think it means Frost was interviewing for head coaching jobs.
And nothing else.
I hadn't heard he is interviewing at Nebraska. That's the one school I worry about taking him from us.
For some reason, I thought I saw where he was interviewing for some type of job - could very easily be wrong..
Would frost leaving result in a carrington decommitment?
I guess it was last year they were talking - but then I saw this..

Seems time to look toward bringing back Scott Frost to work with Taylor Martinez and coach special teams. His experience and pedigree as a winner seems a natural for Lincoln.
This makes the most sense. He's a Nebraska Stud with many friends and family there.
Other then this thread here, I haven't seen him interviewing at Nebraska. He isn't leavin to coach Qb and special teams, especially working for a douche like Pelini.
Exactly. You can't begrudge a guy interviewing for hc jobs. But Frost has elevated himself above lateral moves. He may leave for an oc job at a major program. But not if he can get that same job here.
Personally I don't think he goes anywhere unless it's to be a hc.
That would be good - one of our biggest recruiting advantages is the longevity of our coaching staff. I was just wondering if the interview at LaTech could give us some insight on what Chip is doing (I know - fat chance).. BUT, one thing I can be pretty sure of is that if he does make the jump there will be nothing said before the Fiesta - he has too much class for that - it will be like the Haubaugh announcement. Enjoy the kids, send the seniors off in good fashion, hopefully enjoy the win and 2-3 days later announce.
