I was hoping for an update, guess I'll settle for some amusement.
Chris Rainey in the NFL played under Meyer. I will bet $200 Carlos Hyde is drafte and plays in the NFL.
yeah, wish we had vip access to the ohio state board because for sure they are getting updates from their mods there
It gets him used to it playin in the cold.
All I'm saying is, you can't be nervous because its cold. And no slight to Eugene, there is much more to do in Columbus.
Chris Rainey sucks and doesn't have a future at RB, he's a ST players that's about it.
they have a "where to eat" post on the buckeye board, and someone lists, "applebees"
You said Chis Rainey.....huh huh huh
Depends on what "much more to do" means. In Eugene, the ocean is an hour a way; skiing is an hour away; you can fish for steelhead and trout right on campus; hiking and camping in teh mountains less than an hour - so if you want the nightlife, bars and crowds you are probably right. If you like the outdoors and nature, no place in the US beats Oregon. PLUS, in August and September we are playing in really nice pleasant weather without the heat and humidity...
If Wilson wants to be coached by the best RB coach in the country, he will come to Oregon.. - if not he goes to Ohio State where "they ain't playin school".
BTW, loved how Helf emphasized recruiting character players in his interview...
Enjoy Life, it has an expiration date.
duckdeb, you make Columbus sound like a cool city, with its "nightlife, bars and crowds." It's a lowbrow town in the middle of the cornfields of Ohio where the best thing going on is Applebees and Cheesecake Factory. Not exactly New York City.
Eugene may not have great nightlife, but neither does Columbus.
Damn. Duckdeb I am amazed with your last comment. You couldnt have said it any better. + 1
Don't forget all those tattoo parlors. Love that someone put Applebees down!
But they do have more malls than Eugene......
All Ohio State and Notre Dame fans have done this year is make it hard to root against Alabama. At least their fans come over and have intelligent discussions.
Yeah, Notre Dame and tOSU really do seem to have a lot of bad apples in their fanbases.
As an Ohioan, I have hated OSU my entire life and the fanbase is exactly why. Ugh.
I have been to Ohio if I was a recruit I would rather go to Oregon....... Not even close
Has anyone heard any actual updates regarding Wilson and his osu visit?
And please, please, please:
Just a few tweets from tOSU recruiting people hearing that the visit is going "well"/"great". But I mean that was completely expected, wasn't it?

All tOSU fans think that Dontre is a lock, so no surprise there.
I think we'll have to wait until Monday for any real updates there, nobody seems to have any info on what's going on.
I imagined that would be the case. But when I saw this thread with multiple pages I thought something relevant may be on here. Wishful thinking.
Hopefully Dontre will leave his visit with a nice book to read on the plane ride home, Philip Roth's GOODBYE, COLUMBUS.
