Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton interviewed for the vacant Oregon head coaching job Friday afternoon, a source told CBS. The Ducks are looking to replace Chip Kelly, who became the Philadelphia Eagles' head coach on Wednesday.
Earlier in the week, Hamilton had interviewed for the New York Jets' offensive coordinator job. He also is considered a candidate for the OC job with the Indianapolis Colts.

Its the minority interview!
Certainly a very good interview to make if you are interested in him.

I guess I'm the only one who thought Pep Hamilton was white
Arizona Cardinals also interviewing him..
Minority interview -
maybe they like him possibly has OC - remember helf didn't run the spread before he came to UO - Helf would call the plays and be the OC and Pep would support him -
I'd be open to expoloring him as HC for more than a token interview. He could get more dominant OL to come up North!

Not only a minority hire but a very good one. If not for HC, then OC perhaps? Either way quality candidate, he likely goes to the Indy Colts IMO and Helfrich is promoted either way.

I I hink that we are seeing why Stanford has ascended so rapidly to become our major competitive rival in the PAC. The coaching triumvirate of Harbaugh, Shaw and Hamilton was quite formadable. It was not just a Harbaugh and Luck flash in the pan. It will be nice to see all 3 out of our hair and at the next level as soon as possible.
