Personally I hope he goes big ten. I want to root for him and if he stays in conference I can't do it. Michigan or Miami would both be great programs for him to resurrect.
Also, why take a program with bare cupboards when you can hold out for at least asu? Heck, he might even be able to get ucla if things play out correctly :)
ASU, much like CU last year may not have the money (or just not want to spend it) to buy out old man Erickson's contract. Remember CU really wanted to fire Hawk last season but just couldn't take the financial hit.
IF Michigan were to fire RichRod, they would prob target Harbaugh first.
I am told by the same source Shannon saved his job last week.
It really surprises me about MB and CU. From what I have read CU is short on money and does not really want to pay to get a top notch coach, or pay the money to build a winning program.
I'm actually in Ann arbor right now for work and am getting a good chuckle out of UM. Most people are going out of their way to tell me how great the ducks are. Also, UM fans seem bummed that rich rod won enough games to save his job, while all the MSU fans are loving it.
It's probably how we feel about Riley :)
While I am not saying it wont be MB, it doesnt look like it is a done deal.
Eric Bieniemy former RB is being looked at.
