Oregon has extended an offer to 4-5* DE Nifae Lealao from California. Lealao is a big boy at 6'5", 267 lbs and he appears to have a frame that could put on more weight. He could end up being projected as a DT, but what makes him special is his fast first step and his speed off the edge so he could end up being best fit for SDE. He will be tough to pull from Stanford who is his clear leader right now, but he has also made it clear that Oregon is right there behind the Cardinal. If the coaches build on this offer, he's another to keep an eye on.

"Release Me Cuhhhhhhhh"
This IS nice to see, given our recent pattern of taking so long to offer and coming in late...especially with our desperately needed big boy D line recruits. I look forward to seeing whether Coach Aiken can recruit as well as develop high motors and arm overs and bull rushes. Beating Stanford for this kid would be something.
thank you, he look's very good keep the offer's coming please....
Yeah, looks like a SDE all the way, maybe could end up as a NG. But, he's been playing the 5 tech all through HS, why change it in college as it seems like a good fit. Like he he uses his hands to get off blocks then pursues like hell straight down the LOS(just like you coach it). Seems like he would be a good replacement for Hart.
