Bob Cantu is one of the best coaches in the league and after Thursday's loss to Oregon said he wouldn't be shocked if the Ducks won the Pac-12.

I don't know if you can call an interim guy one of the best coaches in the league. But this is still high praise for the bball team. Hopefully the Ducks can make him a prophet.
Lol. I thought the exact same thing.
I will say that Cantu has been around a while but yeah, he is an interim of a bad basketball team.
Cantu seems to get a lot out of his players these last few games, wouldn't be a bad idea to make him the HC.
After the lst 5-7 mins of that game last night I knew we were in for a battle. SC players were very athletic on defense, and their big inside guys made it tough to get anything easy near the hoop. That's a decent formula for beating us as we're not a strong perimeter shooting team and our point guards haven't been doing a particulary good job of getting us into our offense. I think we'll actually play better vs UCLA as we match up better against them IMO.

Winning the 2013 Pac-12 titles in basketball, football and baseball is a relatively obtainable goal. How cool would that be?
Very attainable!!! Now that would be a great year!! Oh yea and don't forget the softball girls who are on a roll - yea and the Track title - GREAT TIME TO BE A DUCK!!!!!
Enjoy Life, it has an expiration date.
Don't forget volleyball! Made it to the Natty!
And TRACK ...
And GOLF ...
And CROSS COUNTRY ...
If Oregon can find more ways to dictate the tempo of games, then it is definitely attainable. Oregon continues to improve in games where the tempo is not in their favor, but it will cost us some games since we are pretty young in the back-court. The half-court offense has taken a step forward in that there aren't quite as many turnovers, but that is still not a strength. Players like Singler and Dotson will need to penetrate into the lane and either get to the FT line, or kick it out to open shooters when we are forced into this type of game. It's so much fun to think about the potential of this team, and I fully believe Altman when he says Oregon has not come close to reaching its potential.
I think what he means by one of the best is. He is one of the top 12 coaches. Haha
