We're about 10 minutes away from tip-off here at Matthew Knight Arena as the Ducks look to move to 3-0 tonight as they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. DuckTerritory will have live in-game updates throughout the game, so check the original post often for the latest on the matchup between the Ducks and 'Dores.
*Doubt we'll have a sellout at Matt Knight Arena tonight, but the place is a buzz for this matchup between Oregon and Vandy.
*Tonight's starting lineup for Oregon: G - Artis, G - Loyd, G - Dotson, F - Singler, C - Woods
*Great dish from Loyd to Woods for the slam and the foul. Woods goes to the shooting 1. FT good.
*Gotta say, very impressed with Tony Woods' improved touch around the basket this year. Developing into a legit weapon on offense. 5-3 UO.
*Standing "O" for Olympic gold medalist Ashton Eaton. Seems like we get one of these at least a couple times a year.
*Arsalan Kazemi now in the game for Oregon after getting his transfer waiver accepted by the NCAA.
*Loyd having a difficult time holding on to the ball right now. 2 turnovers in 2 possessions. 15-10 Oregon.
*Back-to-back threes by Dotson and Singler gives Oregon a 23-14 lead. Crowd starting to come alive.
*Singler fouled and hits the shot and will go to the line for 1. Altman subbing liberally right now. Missed the FT.
*Dotson AGAIN with a three and Oregon has doubled up Vandy, 28-14. Ducks shooting great in transition. Length an issue right now for Vandy.
*Kazemi very active on defense. Comes up with the steal by is called for double-dribble as he tries to wall off a Vandy defender.
*Leading scorers for Oregon right now: Singler 9, Woods 7, Dotson 6.
*Big dunk in transition from Dotson. Young Ducks showing a lot of energy in this first half. 2:25 left, 34-18 Oregon.
*Emory with a dunk now off a nice low post dish from Woods. Sharing is always caring.
*Loyd makes up for an airballed three with an alley oop to Kazemi. Matt Knight is excite. 38-20 Oregon.
*Great first half by Oregon is capped off by a Loyd bomb before the first half buzzer sounds. 41-20 Ducks at halftime. Wow.
*E.J. Singler leads all scorers with 12 points. Woods 8, Dotson 8.
*In his first game as a Ducks, Kazemi has been doing all the dirty work, leading the team with 5 rebounds and providing boundless energy.
*Oregon shooting an even 50% from the field as a team. Vanderbilt on the other hand is struggling. 27.2 percent.
*Ducks also assisting on 12 of 16 buckets. The Commodores as a team have only 2 assists. Not an early formula for success for Vandy.
*Mark down another steal for Kazemi. Guy has gotta be annoying to play against...relentless, always in your grill.
*Loyd out after picking up his 3rd foul. Artis comes in along with Ben Carter, who subs in for Kazemi.
*Vandy coach Kevin Stallings just got T'ed up. Singler will go to the line to shoot two...aaand now Stallings has been ejected...Bad night getting worse for Vanderbilt.
*Singler goes 3 of 4 from the line and Oregon will have the ball. 44-25 Oregon, 15:50 left.
*Excellent ball movement on that last possession from Oregon. Singler buries a three right before the shot clock sounds. 47-29 Oregon.
*If Oregon can get Damyean Dotson to play this well for the entire season, Ducks could be a force to be reckoned with. 10 points for DD.
*Singler leads all scorers with 18. Dotson with 10.
*Something off about Emory early this season. Mirroring the way he played early last season...out of sync.
*Holy #*&%...Loyd to a streaking Emory for a reverse jam on the alley-oop. That was insane. 60-40 Oregon. Emory now making me look bad. Has 9 points.
*Arsalan Kazemi only scores baskets on alley oops. 62-40 Oregon.
*Oregon leading 71-48 with 2:53 left in the game. Ducks have been really firing on all cylinders this game.

Anyone know if this is being televised or streamed on Pac-12.com
Best nonconferecne student turnout i think i've ever seen. Pit Crew full, behind the basket full, even a fair amount of students in 2nd deck

Tony Woods looking pretty impressive early in this game. Ducks can't get a jumper to fall and should continue using Woods to attack the basket. 7-3 Oregon.
Dominic Artis has some awfully quick hands, kid is a stud!
Already has 2 steals and has been able to get his fingers on 2 other passes.
This is perhaps a perfect start for Oregon basketball. Big crowd and putting up points in various ways. Exciting the crowd. Needed this.
7 assists on 11 baskets for Oregon. That is good ball movement. Singler has 3 assists. Artis has 2 assists and 3 steals.
Didn't think Kazemi would catch that Oop. And great shot by Loyd to close out an amazing first half for the Ducks
Wow! This is a high flying exciting team!
12 assists on 16 baskets for Oregon. They also only have 4 turnovers while getting 5 steals.
Pac-12 looks very solid this year.
Oregon State beat Purdue today and Colorado took down No.16 Baylor
I got to say DA is one hell of a complete coach:
He can recruit some very nice players, regardless of the teams situation. He can coach them up once he gets them, and get them to play together very quickly; and best of all, he is a wonderful game coach.
He has exceed my expectations going into the season the last 3 years running. I think he is our best coach since Harter.
I bet Dana Altman says he was pleased with the first half performance but hated the first 6 minutes of the 2nd half and thus will be mad.
Dotson is a baller, awesome get by DA.
I have a had time understanding why Dotson was under the radar star/ranking-wise.
He is ultra athletic, plays great on ball D, he is fairly skilled (considering his athleticism) and can shoot the three pretty darn well. Sounds like a high 4/5 star guy to me... I'm just glad we got him.
If you have twitter tweet ESPN with the #SCTop10 hashtag for the Emory half court reverse alley-oop dunk!
You're not the only one, kid was definitely rated too low. I'm glad he was though lol.
What's the score?
Now I know this isn't the same Vandy team as last year but my god! Ducks look very good running the 3 bigs at the same time. If they play that good this early..... We could see another Duck team take a run at the PAC-12 title.
Ducks win 74-48!
Fun game. I don't think we played very well and still crushed them.
Wow... wish I could have seen it. I didn't expect that. Bravo boys. bravo!
Emory's alley-oop dunk was #6 on Sports Center Top 10.
