I know you guys said before that the Ducks take no TEs in this class, but it's becoming apparent that they want at least one.
Do they go after more than one? Any theories on what's going on with this situation?
This is what I said in the update outlining scholarship numbers. "This position might be full with the latest addition of Johnny Mundt from 2013. Oregon may cruise around and make an offer or two to elite tight end options, or even one of those jumbo receivers out West. I wouldn't be surprised if Oregon doesn't sign a tight end in 2014. Once again, if they do, it will be somebody elite the staff highly covets.
Last year Oregon signed Johnny Mundt."
Like I said in the final line, Oregon may target a few guys, but it will be 'boom or bust' IMO meaning they will take someone they really want otherwise they won't worry about it.
Do you think any of our current TE options will flip to D?
If so, who?
I think this is something better answered after Spring. Right now would just be speculation.
Thanks for your insight Justin.
Justin, Do you see any of our current TE growing into OL? Terrence Daniel comes to mind. He stands 6-6 and weighed 249 on arrival, per the GoDucks roster.
Also, do you think Ka'ai will move back to defense? He seems to prefer defense to TE after shifting (temporarily?) late last year.
