Anyone who puts 420 in their name is an epic fail. If you burn thats cool if not thats cool too, but putting 420 in your name makes you seem like you are 16.
I will refrain from getting in an argument with you, but Tacoi was a highly touted recruit.
Jackson is our starting SS.
If you are never gonna be satisfied maybe you should follow tOSU or Bama.
The SouthEast has a ton of talent-why not go after a few.
Buckner, Armstead, Balducci, Carriger, Bair all from last years class not sure where you are getting that we have signed no DL in 2 years.
Sorry my bad. I was mainly thinking defensive tackles anyway.
"Release Me Cuhhhhhhhh"
Haha. Hadn't caught that til you pointed it out.
We need to recruit earlier and harder everywhere. Making an offer to a kid from Georgia does not limit our ability to recruit a kid from California. They are not mutually exclusive.
we are what.....6 days into the new recruiting year and we already have our first "the sky is falling" "Oregon is doing this recruiting thing wrong and i can do it better" thread..................is that a record? Talk about Neurotic

I was literally just about to make a comment about the 420 thing. Lol. Beat me to it.
We have a small number of players from that area and the quoted post is a good explanation why we should pursue athletes from there. Also we now have a WR coach with ties to the Southeast which should help. Oregon is more recognizable now that we have had NC contenders for several years. Isaac Dixon and Brian Jackson are already in the rotation on defense. Wogan will almost certainly be a big plus in the next few years and Juwaan Williams has the potential to be an impact player. We may may pull a large number of players from SEC territory but just maybe we can cherry pick a few good ones.
LMJ was a 3*

Its hard to post on a thread where the poster answers his own questions. Maybe have 420 wrong but I have strong confidence on OP's calling it the way they read it.
If we don't recruit nationally we don't win a natty!
Look at all the big dogs, they do it, and we will need to continue to do it if we want the crystal ball.
Hold up bud, I agree. I'm all for heading into the heartland and getting a foothold. I disagree that it's a waist of time. Honestly we need to. Our issues are most big fella's like staying close to home cookin there. When we can get some big names from the East Coast on the roster the better it will be..
What was it Belotti used to say...The toughest part of recruiting was getting kids to come and visit...
Yes, we may hace struck out on some big fish from the south, but just getting guys like torean folston, leon mcquay, vernon hargreaves and davin bellamy to visit is, in and of itself a sign that success is starting to be made in the south...
We had more than a decent shot with at least three of those guys, and if you don't think that getting them to visit has any connection to further success in that area, than all we have to do is look at Texas, where we used to say the same thing about years ago, and now are having unprecedented success pulling in recruits regularly...
Success breeds success, on the field, and in recruiting, as long as we're willing to keep making the investment...
