What do you guys think about this kid?
Runs 4.55 at 6'0" 180lbs. 37.0" vertical at the NFTC combine. Knee injury in his junior season ended his 2011 year before it started. He plays safety, running back, slot receiver, corner and special teams at Sherwood. I'd really like to see this kid walk-on as a corner or safety at Oregon. I like the way he plays.

The highlights are worth watching just because of the hilarious play that Sherwood runs on its kickoff return at the beginning of the tape...
I'll never overlook or underestimate a kid simply because he doesn't have offers. Three years ago we managed to overlook the #1 corner prospect in the country. He was sitting at a high school just three hours away from campus! (Jordan Poyer, Astoria)
I'm not saying Morris is Poyer 2.0, I'm just saying I like his athletic gifts and he hits like a truck. I think he could be a good corner prospect even as a gray shirt.
You never know.
My cousin is head coach at Sherwood.
Use to be a big beaver fan but thr Butterfield brothers have nothing but good things to say about the ducks and he likes Chip and the way the ducks play.
Thanks for the information! Who are you referring to exactly, your cousin or this player (Cristian Morris)? Please send your cousin my compliments! His team played outstanding this year and their program has been looking better and better every year. 5A champions and an undefeated season? Nicely done.
Does Morris have any plans for college and would he consider walking on at Oregon? Thanks!
Talking about my cousin.
I don't know anything about the kid's plans. sorry.
