Haven't checked in for awhile but last I heard his SAT score was due last month and if good enough he was headed to Eugene? Is the score still outstanding or have the coaches had a change of heart?
I've been wondering about this kid as well. Hopefully we can get an update.

Supposedly he thought he had a qualifying score and is waiting to see whether he could clear admissions at Oregon. I thought that came from Justin talking to his Dad, but maybe it was 2nd or 3rd hand info.
I can't speak specifically for Etuale but I can tell you in Hawaii and in American Samoa the biggest issue is qualifying all the way around. I would suspect it is more than just and SAT. The eductaion system in Hawaii is one of the worst in America and A.S. is even worse. I have spoken to a lot of people to include coaches and across the board they voice concerns about kids being prepared academically for the NCAA clearing house process. if parents aren't actively involved in the requirements the standard Hawaiian education could leave you a couple classes short of qualifying for any D1 school.
That's interesting DNasty. Thanks for sharing your take. The longer this takes to find out, the less enthusiastic I am about Daniel's offer. I hope I'm wrong though.
I don't have a lot to share on so when I can I try to add my two cents. If I am not mistaken I thought that Justin said he was a 2012 kid and is attending a Vocational School so maybe he was able to complete the requirements. I have some Samoan coworkers who live, sleep, eat and breath HS football and they knew who he was right away so assume that is a good sign. One of them has a son that plays at the same High School as Pagano did that I would love Justin to take a peak at. Kid was only a Sophmore starting at LB and is huge for his age (6'3" 230) and has pretty good wheels. He is a huge Ducks fan and tells his dad he is going to play at UO. His dad said he will attend a summer camp at Oregon next year.
Good stuff Nasty. What's the name of the Sophomore LB you were mentioning?
Let's hope for the best with Daniel. A QUACK always follows weeks of silence...
