  • That story he was referring to was something Tennessee did though, not us.

    Other than that, Dodd's opinion is meaningless.

    It was about Tennessee's one time assistant coach Eddie Graza paying for an unofficial visit for Lache Seastrunk and funneled the money to Will Lyles to pay for Seastrunk's visit.

    It's not about Oregon but with Will Lyles and Oregon having a history and Lyles meeting with the NCAA it is pretty easy to connect the dots that Oregon will be brought up. Now the question is, did Oregon do anything illegal that the NCAA doesn't know about already.

  • I realize part of it is in reference to Tennessee but he says several schools, thats the part that worries me. I hate having to worry over every little tweet like this. Like people mentioned above. I want it to be over.

    Right. Point was the new article that came out wasn't related to us - now we just hope that nothing else that comes out is either and we can get this over with already.

    One of the biggest things from that article - and this pertains to the Tennessee article - is that Seastrunk's mom wanted Oregon to pay for their transportation for his visit and Oregon told her no.

Does anyone think that Oregon saved severe punishment due to the fact that Lache Seastrunk redshirted and transferred? I know it maybe wishful thinking but for some reason I think Oregon influenced his transfer. Maybe not pointed him in the direction or ordered him to but told him to strongly consider the option....

    Like MBG pointed out. Lache's mom tried to get us to pay for her to come out here and coach Gary Campbell laughed in her face (so to speak).

    We never should have been associtating with Lyles or Evelyn Seastrunk. They are both a couple of scum bags as far as I'm concerned. They were not thinking of Lache (a child) first.

    They were only thinking of themselves. It's a sad state of affairs but I am glad that Lache moved on and never played a snap for us.
    I don't blame him though. At 17 or 18 years old I can't blame him, even if he knew what was going on. Look at what the adults around him were teaching him. I get the feeling that he felt responsible to "save" his mom, which is probably the culmination of many years of her not being able to take care of him or herself.

    No, to the first part. The second part may have some merit to it.

  • It's sad, every adult he new and trusted tried to use him. I'm really glad we didn't out and out break the rules, though obviously we danced in the gray area, but anything that broke the letter of the law, we stayed away from. I wonder what will happen to SC if it comes out they payed for mommy dearest to come to LA, seeing as how they are already on probation.
