I know JD Hinnant was in a pretty serious car accident with some pretty serious injuries. Is it expected that he'll make a full recovery and it won't effect football going forward for him?

Broken pelvis and a bit of head trauma. I think he'll be okay athletically hopefully for him. Obviously in just speculating.

  • Kyle Murphy last year, the one part of last years class that was really thin was in the OL. This year he is already playing for Stanford and as we all know they have a pretty good O-line. Having a receiver like Lee is wonderful but our offense is run first. At both USC and Cal our receivers performed well enough. Easley was a real long-shot at best so I can't see that being quite as big a disappointment.

Hard to say who else Oregon would target right now, but I think pretty safe to assume that the staff will continue zoning in on Oser, Hinnant, and now Falah. I really wouldn't be surprised to see two of those three players sign with Oregon on Signing Day.

Negative recruiting, Really! D o you really think everyone including SC and the MUTT's like getting blown out by us every year, I'm sorry but we all know for a FACT SC and Washington talk crap about the Duck's to recruit's, I mean what else is the kid gonna say!

  • I really think if Oregon especially goes and win's the Championship, on signing day we will do pretty good, but that's just my opinion and Chip tell's kid's honestly about everything and Isn't that what we wan't our kid's and in general people we come in contact with to not LIE to us, because lying doesn't solve anything it just blow's up in your face sooner or later.

    Owa?

For some reason this has to be repeated. Owa was never coming here. He didn't even have Oregon in his Top 5. He said so himself right after his press conference.

Easley was a Duck until the day before he verbaled to Florida. We were number 1 on his list but Florida was his dream school. He got the offer the last day of practice at the under armour (or army all amercian game, I forget which one). I let out a loud F-bomb in front of the wife and 2 year old at the time. He was ours until Urban offered.

In other words Florida was his first choice and the only way he was coming to Oregon was if they didn't offer.

Until he tore up the UA Allstar game practices, Florida wasn't going to offer.

Florida isn't the only school that doesn't make early offers to everyone. Some schools evaluate more than athletic talent(grades, character and how they fit in the program). But then, many on this board have complained because Oregon takes so long to offer some great athletes(Seals-Jones, Montravius Adams), waiting till an evaluation is complete. Sometimes this is to pursue recruits that are on the fence instead of spending a lot of energy on ones that are pretty much a sure thing. If some of you were on the Florida staff and have inside info that is fine, but I would be very surprised if they had not been in communication with him. USC on the other hand, pretty much offers anyone with more than 3 stars.
