  • Wow, offenses really picked it up in the 2nd half. Explosion! I wouldn't pick against the Ducks to win the NIT at this point. Not saying its ours just that I won't pick against.

  • Those that down voted me a month back when I said this was one of the best Oregon teams ever need to come forward. We are not a storied basketball school and closing in in on the most wins ever. Top 5 is a distinct possibility and best since the team that lost to Florida in the elite 8.

  • Well, Oregon's defense was horrendous but they never gave up. It had to be demoralizing for Iowa when they were only up 4 at halftime, they would have been up 10-15 points on most teams. Thankfully, Olu had an unbelievable game and kept us in it. In the second half, it seemed like Iowa just ran out of gas and we could control the tempo a little bit better. We'll have to play better defense against the damn Doogs, but we have a shot.

On the way home from the game, Altman said on the radio that Olu was fine after that tumble over the bench. Banged his head, but not concussed.

    Go Ducks, and Beat Washington!

I'm not sure why the rumor keeps going, but we did not beat Washington twice this year. If we play them again it will be a tie breaker. However even that doesn't deserve a down vote. Up vote for all - go ducks.

You're 100% correct, not sure why I thought we beat em twice. Either way looking forward to Tuesdays game.

You got down voted for saying that? There was a lot of riff raff around here a month or so ago.

Great win. 108 points! That's insane. Beat the fuskies!

I up-voted you, and I truly believe that if Oregon had gotten an NCAA bid that we would have won at least one game. I'm a homer (and that's okay!), but this team has gotten so much better since the beginning of the season. Most teams would have folded after Iowa went on their run to start the game, but the team kept on fighting and found a way. Iowa is a solid team, they swept Wisconsin, and beat Indiana/Michigan at home. Great win, and I'm happy that Oregon gets another crack at UW at their place.
