If Coach A was after him that much and they where able to get his knee checked out on his visit then I am happy. He seems to have good size and speed for what we are looking for him from and wants to be here. We are taking a ton of LB's in this class so I like getting a few under the radar kids as well.
When he re-hurt his knee this summer, did he tear the ACL again or was it just a sprain? It would be interesting to hear what kind of re-hurt it was. Either way, he clearly has the talent as it sounds like everyone was all over him before he got hurt.

Looks like a very solid pick up. The fact he was getting recruited by some big name schools before he got injured just shows that he had some legit talent.
