Did I say USC doesn't develop there players?? NO. I said Oregon's coaches are superior at developing their players and getting the most out of their talent. There is a reason Oregon has won the Pac-12 the past 3 years despite other schools having higher rated recruits. It's simple logic.
BTW, you keep saying we were leading, when EV even said he was only really considering USC and LSU and that us and PSU were only intriguing. You're just using untrue statements

No, you're whining because you're babies. You guys whine and moan every time a kid goes somewhere else. USC?? A Southern California, rich, famous, connected, greatly located, and filled with hot girls university with a long tradition get's higher rated recruits, well duh. I'm an Oregon fan 100%, born and raised in Oregon, but their amazing recruiting doesn't worry me.
1. Oregon's coaches are vastly superior in player development.
2. Oregon's coaches are vastly superior in game-planning and scheming
3. Oregon's coaches are still landing Top-25 recruiting classes year after year.Who cares who USC gets. Location and legend is what a bunch of these guys want, and that's something that is harder for us to offer, but our coaches are better at getting every drop of talent out of our recruits. This "pattern" of recruiting is nothing new. You particular babies will whine for the next 5 months until all of a sudden, we have a Top-20 recruiting class because Chip landed some top-tier recruits that were previously committed elsewhere. You particular few that whine the most make the rest of us Oregon fans look bad. Grow a pair.

I don't think they have figured out our defense, but I think they will be even better this year and Monte will have had another ear of working it out. 3 true freshmen starters at LB and they are fast...they will only get much better.

Hahaha. People are acting like Oregon just started the season 0-4 or had a best friend die. Grow up. This is recruiting and is supposed to bring a little extra fun and excitement to your life but should not define your life. For that matter neither should wins or losses. Football is fun but pull yourselves together.

Look we're all fans here, so really there's only one thing, the most rational thing, we can do... And that's to set aside our petty differences and bombard EV's twitter feed with death threats and bible verse from Leviticus. If I've learned anything from aTm we can all do a lot more to support the Ducks.

First, Go compare the "star ratings " of SC's defense vs our offense last year. There is absolutely no reason that it should have been that close in the first place if we are going strictly off talent.
Second, minus 2 fumbles on what looked like scoring drives, that 35 could have been 49 really easily.
Point being, SC hasn't figured out shit with Oregon's offense.

USC has not completely figured it out, but geting closer and closer. Its natural right? Just like you will figure us out. Teams play each other every year, you figure out their schemes and tendencies. I hope you don't think that Oregon can run the spread for ever and have no one figure it out. That goes against football logic: everything gets figured out, then teams adjust. That's the beauty of the game and what helps football evolve. 10 years ago, no spreads in the Pac. Now, u, RichRod and AZ, even WSU /Leach and their air raid attack are implementing spread concepts. The adjustment? Smaller, faster LBs - safety type guys that can play in space. More Ds will adjust, and then the CK's and RR's of the world will adjust again. Thats football baby-
As for 2010, that got nasty-we got kicked in the dick, no doubt. Last year, it was better, we won, but still not great. You put too much on stars and ratings tho. We may have higher rated players, but we are also paper thin. We can have, say, 20 5 star players on our team. But if the team only has e.g 60 something players that can play (and then injuries etc to those guys), and Oregon has some 4* guys and majority 3* guys but got depth at every position (to absorb injuries etc), guess what, Oregon will have a greater chance of winning the game. 1st half would be close, then stamina comes in in the second half, favoring the depper team (even with alleged lower rated players). No players at D1 level are so far apart by the star rating to easily make up for a difference in the number of people you have on a team. In other words, 3*-5*, there is a difference, but it aint THAT damn big, especially when u have numbers on ur team. Usually, the team with greater depth and great coaching - wins. Now, if you got great depth, AND all those 5*, 4* kids, the other team may be in trouble! And by the way, who are you kidding? You act like u got bums on ur team, as if you are the Idaho Vandals or something. You have high rated players on ur team who had offers from USC, Texas, Oklahoma, etc. Ur classes are always in the top 20-25 in the various site rankings.

I'm not as worried about DBs because Oregon always pulls in good ones. Elite DL are a completely different story and our DL has been the #1 problem against the "big boys". Granted, landing a couple of those DBs would be nice. I'm dreading the day I see Redfield Hargreaves and Willis all commit to SC.
