    It really seems like they are non-reactionary and will assess the best options for their son. That very well still may be Oregon...I believe the new coach still gets an in-home visit even though Kelly already did, so that will be our chance to make the case and lock him in.

    Yeah, it seems like they are pretty level-headed and not making a knee-jerk decision. IIRC Dontre and his father both said earlier in the process that this was a business decision, and the reason they committed to Oregon was that the offense was the best fit for him. I'm confident he'll be a duck if Helf is named HC and Coach Cam is still around.

    Lmao at Bucknut fans. First of all they don't have enough room to take all four of the kids plus the handfull of other PSA's they are in on. Bucknut fans are some of the most delusional, self entitled fans in the country. They believe any kid that they offer or pursue they will land.

    Sure Urban will get his, but they won't get 75% of the kids they're absolutely confident about. Even their mods are the same way and consistently blow smoke up the fanbases ass. After reading this article I believe Dontre will be a Duck on signing day.

    Hell if they think they might force kids to transfer Helf & Co should flip the script abd offer a bunch of their commits. Their RB commit Ezikiel Elliott was very interested in Oregon. I read that he was trying to contact Oregon for a long time to try and build a relatiinship and get an offer, but he said the staff never got in touch with him so he moved on.

    This was before Oregon was recruiting anyone so it's not guaranteed Oregon wasn't interested. It was when they were evaluating kids. We're still looking for a third RB. Might as well offer him. Lol. Might as well offer JT Barrett, Marcus Baugh, etc, etc... Give them a taste of their own medicene.

    Something like that, at least this year, might be worse than losing Chip as far as preserving a recruiting class goes. It's no secret that Campbell is a beast on the recruiting trail, and with the prospects Oregon has verbally committed at this point, it could be backbreaking to lose a guy like him.

    It wasn't long ago when he couldn't land an elite high school RB if his life depended on it. I remember when Terrell Jackson signed he was considered the highest prep back to come to Oregon in over a decade. My how the times have changed.

    I disagree with you about our confidence in getting Wilson. We think we have a good chance with Wilson. We have also offered the other kids you mentioned. As to "over signing", it looks we could have 3 scholarships left. Would love to have all four of the kids mentioned but we might get one.

    I believe Elliot has already enrolled effective with the winter semester. And we aren't arrogant! We have been talking to Wilson for about two weeks now and it is my understanding that Wilson made contact with us. By the way, Barrett also enrolled in January. This isn't OSU's fault. This is Kelly's fault.

    You're right. No one ever heard of Ohio State football before we "copied" you. You do know that Urban ran this offense first right? He came to visit Kelly because he was very interested in the things that Kelly changed in the offense and was very complementary about Oregon. As to OSU coming after your recruits, I direct you to your own article which states that Wilson has been receiving calls from all over the country, not just OSU.

    I know he has and he only talked to Coach Cam. It does not matter are program is going to be fine with or without Tre. Carrington, Robison Twins, Tre really? Your coach is a known scumbag end of story. He will destroy that program just wait and see.

  • Really is hard to grasp having a cupboard of awesome athletes. Chip hand picks and him being so close to really legendary status. Being ranked 4,3,2 in the nation in consecutive years with a good chance of getting to the BCS championship next year. The kids we have will get it done. Hopefully with the kids that are committed currently as well.
