Please. Offer any of our recruits. You will not flip any of Urbs. You guys are the dillusional one!s. You don't have nowhere near the tradition we have. Chip was the best thing that had ever happened to Ducks football. Now that he has left because of the sanctions that are on their way. You should be upset with him because he lied to all Duck fans. Oh yeah I don't know about the other kids you guys were speaking of but one thing I do know is you can kiss Wilson goodbye! He will be a Buckeye:-)

I believe Elliot has already enrolled effective with the winter semester. And we aren't arrogant! We have been talking to Wilson for about two weeks now and it is my understanding that Wilson made contact with us. By the way, Barrett also enrolled in January. This isn't OSU's fault. This is Kelly's fault.

You're right. No one ever heard of Ohio State football before we "copied" you. You do know that Urban ran this offense first right? He came to visit Kelly because he was very interested in the things that Kelly changed in the offense and was very complementary about Oregon. As to OSU coming after your recruits, I direct you to your own article which states that Wilson has been receiving calls from all over the country, not just OSU.

Actually Urban ran a different form of the spread. I can't stand when ignorant FB fans say that crap. Meyer basically ran the old version of thr West coast spread option.
Chip runs a zone spread which NFL teams such as the 49ers, Seahawks, Redskins, Patriots, Panthers, etc, etc...all run very similar systems. Chip is a revolutionary and a true innovator. Urban's system was give ball to Tebow or Harvin and run.
Urban is definitely trying to copy what Oregon does and has been doing. He even said it publicly. Lol. Oregon>OSU all day every day!!!

Please tell me why when other fans start talking shit about buckeye fans they always come out with the statement "urban will ruin your program, just wait." Yeah, he really ruined Utah and Florida, going undefeated at Utah and 2 NC at fla. and Florida went 11-1 in the regular season. Really ruined that program.
It's not bucknuts making up the chatter with dontre maybe flipping to the buckeyes. Over 3 staff members, one being Steve wiltfong who is not a bucknuts writer, he is a national guy who said he has 2 sources close to the situation who says he thinks the buckeyes are the team to beat in this situation.

If we're talking about the current state of our teams, yes OSU went undefeated. If you look a little further, you'll see that at home against Cal you won by a measly touchdown, while we went on the road and beat them by 42 points. You squeaked out wins against an overrated Michigan State team, PURDUE IN OVERTIME AT HOME, Wisconsin (who was superior last year mind you), Indiana by 3, and UAB and UCF at home both by 2 touchdowns each. Hell, I'd be disappointed if the Ducks played your schedule and didn't go undefeated. You probably think the same about our schedule don't you? Let me remind you that USC, UCLA, Stanford, Arizona, ASU, Washington, and Oregon State are all better than that bum-ass team Pac12 team you beat by a TD.

Good news indeed... but over on Bucknuts they are VERY confident they are landing Wilson... and maybe Carrington and the twins as well. The only obstacle in their minds is that they have no spots available, so they think Urban will be over signing and then forcing players to transfer. Don't know how much truth there is to this or if it's wishful thinking.

The reporting on Wilson's recruitment has me a little perplexed. On the one hand we have the writers (mods) for the Oregon site talking exclusively with Dontre and his family. It appears there is mutual trust between the parties and the reporting indicates Dontre is committed to the Ducks based upon statements made by Dontre and his father. On the other hand you have other 247 writers (mods) that write for the Buckeyes site. They appear to be talking to Dontre's coach about the situation. The coach appears to be communicating to them, per JHops writing, that Dontre is going to visit OSU and will end up there. Dontre refuted those claims to the Oregon mods up until recently. Now he's thinking about it.
Why are the mods for the two sites not talking to the same people, so that there is not a he said, no he said storyline but a complete picture presented to readers? But that issue aside, what appears to me to possibly be a bigger untold story, particularly given the subject matter of Oregon's pending hearing with the NCAA, is why would a coach get himself so involved with a kid's recruitment? Why would a coach, after a kid has committed to a school, continue to talk to the press about a players interest in another school, despite that kid and his parents saying otherwise? Or more to the point, what are Urban and the Buckeyes offering this coach for access to Wilson?

I see your point but on my end I've always been up front with the Wilson family, asked them simply to tell me any news, good or bad, I don't care, just shoot me straight. I felt I've had no reason to go to speak with the coach who seems to have a different opinion on what Dontre will do.
That's the reason I haven't decided to seek the alternate opinion. I also know what coach Mathis has said to coach Campbell privately which lines up more with what the Wilson family has said versus what coach Mathis has said to other media.
We will all, Oregon/Ohio State fans have to simply wait and see what develops.
I have little doubt he'll visit Ohio State now, but I think if Helf is promoted and Campbell stays, Wilson will remain with Oregon.

The Suckeyes think any recruit committed to any other school is a secret lock for them. Most arrogant fanbase in CFB, even more than any SEC school or USC. They still give us crap for the Rose Bowl. Who does that when you're not even rivals? Do we go and bother Wiscy on their board because they lost? Will we ever do that to K-State? No. But every few months some Suckeye likes to come on here and talk crap about 2009. Sick of it, grow up.
But I hope Cam can lock Dontre down. Glad they only took his call. I think he'll stay a Duck but it'll be a battle.

Because one moron came over here and was talking shit doesnt mean that is how the whole fanbase thinks. Obviously there are some dipshit buckeye fans, but with over 500000 alumni, only a small percentage belong to bucknuts and are dumb enough to come over here and talk shit. Yes we think we will get dontre because he has been rumored for weeks that the buckeyes were San option and now that Kelly made an in home visit the day before taking the eagles job, it obviously leaves a sour taste in dontres mouth.
In regards to the rest of the recruits, I wouldn't think we get any of the others. I don't see that many California kids coming this Far East to play.
From an hour ago @jcshurburtt: Dontre Wilson talk from @GerryH247sports - he's been on record as saying #Buckeyes are possible. Urban Meyer in Desoto soon.
