2013 Rose Bowl = bad example. Wisky was the 3rd best team in the Big Ten. By the way, you can say Wisky is soft if you want to, but Oregon would probably not waltz into Camp Randall and walk out with a win. Don't fool yourself. Ohio State did and yes, in OT. WTFC.

How many BCS wins does each program have? National Championships? Are you sure you want to continue down this road? I'm not sure why you hate Ohio State so much. I like and respect Oregon, but let's not let the past 6-7 years of success go straight to your ducking head.

Trust me. I live in Michigan. Vast majority of you are like this(above you, not you)^^. I was neutral until I finally started going to Ohio.

True story: went to Columus to see my favorite band play: Pavement. After the concert, I was walking around downtown with my wife and hitting up various bars and having a genuinely good time. I was wearing my old oregon shirt. Some buckeye students across the street saw me--and this was the year after you guys beat us in the Rose Bowl.

One of them says, "Oregon sucks. WE beat your ass, faggot!"

I smiled and replied, "classy move, buckeye. You always treat teams you beat with such respect?"

he says,

"yeah, yeah. Your girl is an ugly cunt!"

There's a line you don't cross. Buckeyes regularly cross it. Worst fans in football. Worse than fuskies. I may hate fuskies more on principle...but I will always know that the worst fusky is better than most buckeyes. And that's the truth. I have so many examples. And I don't even like arrogant wolverines. But I'm a fan by default thanks to you guys.

In all fairness--I hear Penn St is horrible too...but I haven't ventured that close to State College in a ducks jersey. Cheers, buckeye man. Go corral those horrid fans of yours.

You see stories like this on these boards all the time - the worst kind of stories and meaningless. Fan of school "A" goes to the town of school "B", goes barhopping, wearing his teams shirt and some drunk jerks runs his mouth. This somehow equals the worst fans in America. You could put in any school on either end and have the same story countless times.

It's not just one story, man. And it's not anectdotal heresay. These are things I, personally, have witnessed. And I'm telling you they go way beyond the standard trash talk or drinking binge. But ok. Toss it off. I can tell you that "meaningless story" held deep significance for my traumatized wife.

And Ducks are known to be horribly obnoxious. True. We deserve it. Fuskies are arrogant, hollow d-bags. Wolverines are so full of themselves they won't give you the time of day until they see your credentials.

And Ohio State is...well, horrid. Not all of them, sure...but god, I'm not one for superlatives...but the horrors I've seen...

die yankees die.....I'm not trying to be disrespectful at all. What happened to you was wrong and absolutely those who yelled at you and your girl are the worst of the worst.....but honestly....wearing Ducks gear (or any rival schools colors) to a bar/nightclub in C-bus within a 25 mile radius of Ohio States campus is a bad bad idea. You have to know this.

I travel to a ton of games....I mean a ton! Unless it's a bowl game....when I venture to anyone's home turf on any of our OOC road games and most certainly conference road games.....I wear regular clothes! I don't ever sport any of my colors for the very reason you mention above. For me....it's just common sense especially since I'm not one that generally backs down from controversy. I could always use a good ass kickin' from time to time.....which doesn't happen all that often but I do like the challenge.....fortunately I'm a little older and wiser.....and 100% try to refrain from such activities....

I will say this though: tOSU fans seem to crawl out of the woodwork....I know I've had trouble with my own kind.....and from a sheer numbers standpoint I completely understand why the masses despise us. But that's ok...it is what it is.

What's important here is football. This....is what we all share a passion for and have in common!

I have been criticized for saying that I'd rather have James Clark than Dontre Wilson. Only because I feel Clark fits a position of need more than Wilson.

I think Wilson is a better fit at Oregon due to his skill set which is the APB. We are deep deep deep at the RB position and I'd rather have a proven WR such as Clark as opposed to Wilson just from the experience standpoint. Plus with guys like Miller, Marshall and Elliot coming in.....I feel we have enough of those types and need more WR's as we only have two true WR's in our class so far.

That being said...if Wilson wants to go to C-bus so be it....I won't be heartbroken over it.

I certainly wish these kids handled recruiting as they did in the days of old.....the media attention these days is ridiculous and I think that is what is frustrating to us fans the most....they draw these things out in the hopes of soaking up as much attention as possible. However....if I were one of these young gentlemen....I'd probably try to soak up some spotlight myself....you just never know how it's going to work out at the next level.

Hey....we have some verbals that have our guys on the hook here as well so you're not alone in that department....let's hope these kids make the right decisions for themselves and truly end up where in their heart they want to be.

Best of luck to you great Ducks fans.....you have a right to be and should be proud of your program! Especially you older Ducks who've been through those down years...believe me I know how you feel!

There are varying education levels within every fan base; I played college ball out here in Ohio at YSU and while I have seen the worst the Buckeye fans have to offer many of them are educated and very knowledgeable. I still hope we can hang on to Wilson, but at this point I am beginning to have some serious doubts.
