Interesting quote from recruit

  • I read an article on Scout talking to Devon Allen and his recruiting. He was asked about Oregon and was quoted saying "There's six spots left and they're still kind of waiting on some defensive back and linemen." To me this means the coaches feel really good bout the chances of landing Juwaan Williams and are clearly planning on taking another OL. I would predict one more RB and QB Tanner McEvoy. So that only gives us two spots for either a DL, Mike LB, or Smythe. This matches up fairly well with our depleted DOT Board as really their may be only two unknown rosters spots. I also would not be opposed to taking two more OL. Can never have enough.

    I also really hope we take 2 more O-Linemen. Mostly because I would love to stock up on them, but also because our remaining targets are all really good and I would gladly take any 2 of them if we can.

  • Yeah with the number of options Oregon seems to be seriously considering at this point, that number seems pretty well in line, and the spots could fill up pretty quick once they start rolling.
