I hate to say it, but the BCS got it right. Bama was clearly a better team than LSU. But that being, said it clear that a plus one is the only way to go to determine the actual champion.

If you give the second best team in a conference another chance, then you have to also include some other one loss team as well. I hope thats what comes of these BCS meetings. The plus one can keep the bowl system in tact. The Rose Bowl would be the only bowl that would have to change in order to keep a true 1-4, 2-3 matchup.

I think they were the best team, but still disagree with their right to be there. Here's my logic: if the best team we've ever seen loses their starting qb who happens to be their best player for three games and loses them, goes on to dominate every other game they played but don't win their division, do they deserve to be there? No. Okie St had the better resume and deserved the chance, doesn't matter who's better.

wig you are correct. However, I have two dogs that were watching the game with more comprehension than Les Miles. Also good that Honey Badger didn't win the Heisman-based on the way he (didn't) use his hands and arms tonight he would have completely whiffed the hand off.

Clearly the better team. It's not always about resume. They should have won the first game and they dominated the 2nd game. That's an NFL defense out there.
